There are regulations in place that limit us from landing in backcountry zones & parks. We also avoid areas designated as non-motorized recreation zones. Charters for skiers *tenured heli-skiing with lodge is allowed*, hikers, mountain bikers, etc. are not allowed to land in these non-motorized areas above 3200′ elevation.
These include the provincial parks and designated zones around Maroon Mountain, Seven Sisters Mountain Range, Sleeping Beauty Mountain, Mt Remo (except the Anderson Cabin heli-pad), Mt William Brown, Gitnadoiks River, Mt Hipp (except the Larsen Cabin heli-pad), Mt Morris…

Want a helicopter flight over Kitimat?
Flights for tours originate at our Terrace base. Flight time from Terrace to Kitimat return is approximately 1 hour, not including any extra time circling Kitimat (or Terrace).
Rates vary dependent on the type of flight.
Helicopter flights from Terrace to Gitwangak (Kitwanga) or Gitlaxt’aamiks (New Aiyansh) are approximately the same amount of time as a Kitimat flight, 1 hour round trip.
We don’t offer drop-offs/pick-ups in the Nisga’a lava beds to the general public as this is a provincial park. We can offer sightseeing trips flying over the lava beds from the Terrace base. Please contact the BC Parks/Nisga’a gov’t for information on hiking tours & camping info.
Interested in a heli-fishing trip? We have working relations with a handful of great local fishing charter guides that can arrange a trip for you.
The cost for custom drop-off or pick-up includes any costs to reposition the aircraft from or back to the base (including empty leg trips).
Cost will vary for the type of client, example: flights for tourists have a lower price vs transfers for work crews.
Yes we do! Please note that the same restrictions for backcountry recreation sites mentioned above also apply to landings for proposals, marriage ceremonies as well as memorial/cairn sites. The Mount Remo Backcountry Society does not allow commercial operations (includes professional photographers) or commercially guided groups to use the cabin sites.
